Empower Academy was founded with one goal in mind: to help post-MBBS doctors in India unlock their full potential by providing the right guidance and support to pursue medical careers abroad.
Started by two UK-based doctors, Dr. Aman Syed and Dr. Atif Moiz, both working in emergency medicine, the academy was born out of their personal experience navigating the competitive and often confusing process of international licensing exams. They realized that doctors in India often lacked access to proper information and mentorship, making it harder for them to succeed in countries like the UK, US, and Australia.

Dr. Atif began his career leading Emergency Departments at Hyderabad’s top hospitals. In 2019, he became one of the few doctors from India to secure UK Higher Specialty Training in Emergency Medicine.
Now a Consultant at Mid Yorkshire NHS Trust, he also leads the CESR Support Programme. With rich frontline experience and strategic vision, he drives innovation and excellence at Empower Academy.

Dr. Aman started his NHS career in 2017 and went on to serve at the renowned John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford. Currently a Higher Specialty Trainee in Emergency Medicine with a Future Leaders Fellowship, he is deeply committed to healthcare education, leadership, and guiding the next generation of Indian doctors in global medicine.
